I am back at the Dr office for more liquid. It's been a pretty decent day as I've eaten lunch for the first time in a week. I was able to get on my work computer and catch up as I expect to be back in the office tomorrow. I will be happy if I can work the next 8 days before the next chemo week. It makes things seem "normal" although i am experiencing not having any hair and that is interesting. i ended up shaving it because there were so spots where there was no hair and others where there was a little so i just tried to clean it up. Of course, like all of this, there is no consistency and some spots seem to still grow while others are not. I might need to google "shaving your head" as it probably has some good tips.

Sam --
It's great to hear that you are back to work, event though it might be a day here and a day there.
Perhaps you should try drinking some beer...I seem to remember that you don't have much trouble with that!
Take care,
Jeff
Hey Sam, I know it must be very hard for any man to see a bald head looking back at him in the mirror...but damn, from what I saw in Heather's pictures of you....wow! you are even more handsome! I like it!
I'll ask my friend Jonathon if he has any tips for shaving. xomm
Sam,
I know this has been a long road for you. I'm sure you feel as though it was just yesterday that you were diagnosed but a lifetime ago that you felt like your "pre cancer" self. A busy mind for you also, I'm sure. I'll continue praying for your wellness, strength and more peace of mind as you continue forward.
Sammy,
As long as everyone else is giving some suggestions, I will pass on Uncle Freddy's from my conversation with him last night.
He says Yogurt is good, Soy is great but best is tofu and especially in Miso Soup. I make a mean Tofu pizza that you might like. Just let me know when you are ready to try it.
And, I know Latkas work for everything. Happy Chanukah. I love you.
Mom
Happy Chanukah to you and your family!
Love,
Elaine
