Day 68

I am getting ready to go upstairs for the last day of Chemo treatment. As you might be able to imagine, this is pretty exciting although not as much as when the day is over. Just about 6 hours left....

I woke up today knowing that this was the last day of these drugs for you and I am so excited that it is finally here. I know that you are drained and exosted from this round of treatment and it does not make the actual treatment any easier, it may make it a little more tolerable.
Hopefully the next few weeks will give you and your body some down time to heal, some quiet time to reflect on all you have been through in such a truly short time and some pride that you have some out of it all so strong.
In my mind I sit there in the chair next to you each time you go, and I too am sick of this place (the people are amazing but no need to visit)!
I love you so much and think of you always!

Despite what they are doing to him, he has done well and his girls are proud of him.
We are going to keep him hydrated over the weekend in hopes of keeping the suffering down these days immediately following. They tend to be the toughest.
Your continuous support is appreciated. Jennifer

Sammy & Jennifer,

We celebrate the end of this part of your lives and Thank God that it is over. We celebrate that you two kept your spirits alive, your hopes glowing, and your lovingness in your faith in each other.

We also celebrate that we too made it through and that we still have the spirit that tomorrow will be a good day. It's not that the sun may shine, but the success of the months past.

We celebrated today with your girls and we made a special toast and clinked glasses to the end. And the end is another beginning.

We love you so dearly, and next week or the next, when you are feeling better and you see your daughter on the Chinese News Broadcast from today, you will smile as we did watching them today.

So on to bigger and better days and your good health always.

Lovingly,

Mom, Steve, Briley, Addy, and Tini
